Words are inadequate to describe the experience of photographing this immense power and beauty.  

 
In the news: The US National Weather Service published a report yesterday of findings on the factors related to the damage done by tornadoes in Joplin, MO, earlier this year in which 160 people died. The report identifies ways to improve disaster relief and disaster preparedness based on examinations of events in Joplin.
